Claris has released FileMaker 2024 (version 21), introducing new automation capabilities and enhancements designed to help developers build more intelligent and connected custom applications.

A major focus of this release is the introduction of AI-assisted script steps, allowing developers to incorporate intelligent logic into FileMaker workflows. These tools make it easier to automate decision-making, data processing and integrations.

FileMaker Pro also benefits from improvements to the Data API, including expanded write capabilities, and enhanced Web Viewer performance for modern web integrations.

On the server side, FileMaker Server 2024 delivers improved Data API performance, better stability under load, and refinements to the Admin API. These changes ensure hosted solutions can reliably support more advanced integrations and higher usage.
