Claris has released FileMaker Pro 19.1.2, a significant update to the FileMaker 19 platform that introduces new tools, a modern interface and enhancements designed to speed up custom app development.

This release introduces JavaScript-based add-ons, including Activity Timeline, Kanban Board, Calendar, Photo Gallery and Rich Text Editor. These add-ons allow developers to quickly deploy sophisticated interface components without custom web development.

The new Apex Blue theme becomes the default for newly created solutions, delivering a cleaner, more modern appearance straight out of the box. On macOS, the Quick Start Experience provides a simplified way to build apps by dragging pre-built components directly onto layouts.

FileMaker Server deployments also benefit from expanded authentication options, including support for Microsoft AD FS, helping organisations integrate FileMaker more seamlessly into existing identity management systems.

This release delivers both visual and functional improvements that help developers create modern, interactive solutions more efficiently.
